This design derives from a style that we had in our Noosa Boutique previously, they sold for $120 each and walked out the door.  I wore mine so much that I had these made the same, they fall so beautifully and always look new after washing.  The waistband is just a doubled over band with no elastic, as the jersey is stretchy it is perfect as a waistband.  I love them because if you lose some weight or put some on they always seem to fit perfectly.  I wore mine whilst I was pregnant, they stretched so much but always went back to the original size, so I wore them before and after my pregnancy.
